Twelve schools attended a shared training programme (Accelerated Reading) in St. John's PS Moy in order to improve reading for children in all of the schools involved. This was a very successful training day with schools helping and learning from each other. School partnerships participating in this shared programme also received £1500 to spend on books for each school. This was a really worthwhile training exercise and hopefully it will help further improve reading skills and reading ages for those children attending St. John's. A big thank you to all those who took part. Also a special thanks for Tommy McDermott from Renaissance Learning for providing all teachers with the information necessary to make this programme a success in each school.
