Primary 4 enjoyed celebrating Roald Dahl Day on Friday 13th September. Roald Dahl Day is an annual, global celebration of Roald Dahl and the stories, characters and worlds he created.
The children took part in a range of fun activities to recognise and celebrate this wonderful author! We had a Roald Dahl Maths Challenge competition, Newsdesk research tasks and character games. P4 also had the most scrumdiddlyumptious Chocolate tasting activity in honour of Roald Dahl’s love of all things chocolate!
The children had great fun exploring different texts, including The BFG, Billy and the Minpins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda Fantastic Mr Fox, The Enormous Crocodile and Esio Trot. We will be basing our Literacy work around him and his work over the next few weeks.
